Klacko Marine Inc. was established in the 60s by Martin Klacko within Erich Bruckmann’s Custom Division of C&C Yachts. Working with C&C Yachts and Bruckmann allowed Martin to be at the forefront of a very exciting time in yacht racing and development.

Danny Klacko later began working for his older brother Martin in the early days at the C&C Custom Division and soon headed the Spar division of Klacko Marine.

In the late 80s, Klacko Marine moved into the well known shop on Third Line. This enabled the company to service a wider customer group, which included C&C Yachts, CS Yachts, Hinterhoeller, Beneteau, Medeiros Limestone, Tartan, Grampian, Saga, Ontario Yachts and Bruckmann Yachts.

By the early 90s, Martin further focused on supplying production boatbuilders with stainless and aluminum hardware. He established a second facility in Grimsby, Ontario while Danny continued with the Oakville Spar Division under the new name ‘Klacko Spars’.  Tim and Daniel are now actively involved in running day to day operations at the Oakville Spar location.

Klacko Spars and Klacko Marine are separate companies, but to this day work jointly in providing the yachting community with high levels of fabrication service and expertise.
