Working With Us
What is the design and consultation process like?
It is a highly interactive partnership. We don’t just take an order; we provide expert guidance to ensure the final result is technically sound and visually perfect for your vessel. Whether you have a precise vision or just a general concept, we guide the process to ensure you get exactly what you’re looking for—even if you aren’t sure of the technical specifics at the start.
My boat is not in Ontario. Can you still help me?
Yes. We have extensive experience working remotely. From Toronto to the Caribbean, we ship custom projects across North America with an incredible success rate.
Do you offer mobile welding and fabrication?
Yes. We can weld directly on your boat provided shore power is available. Our TIG welding process is exceptionally clean, spark-free, and we are fully insured.
Do you provide installation?
No. We focus 100% on high-precision fabrication. We provide clear guidance for DIY installers or can recommend trusted professional installers in your area.
Materials & Quality
How does a Klacko arch compare to mass-market or OEM alternatives?
Our philosophy is OEM and Beyond. Mass-market arches are typically universal-fit “kits” made of aluminum or thin-wall tubing that often look like an afterthought.
A Klacko arch is Integrated Engineering. We use heavy-wall 316L stainless steel that is custom-profiled to your hull’s specific lines. We don’t just “bolt on” davits or solar mounts; we engineer them into the structural frame for higher loads and reduced vibration.

What metals do you work with?
95% of our work is 316L Stainless Steel sourced from North American foundries. We also work with aluminum, steel, bronze, and exotics.
Is the finish Chrome?
No. All of our stainless is mirror-polished. Unlike chrome plating, which can peel, our finish is part of the metal itself. If you scratch it, it can be polished back to a mirror finish.
Is custom work expensive?
Pricing is based on labor time and materials used. The most cost-effective projects are those with clear objectives and minimal design changes during the fabrication process.
